The Transplant Unit (Department of Nephrology) is located in the University Hospital of Parma. The Unit is in charge for the care of all kidney and kidney-pancreas transplants performed in Parma (about 50 per year) since the perioperative period.
After discharge from our Unit, transplant recipients are followed-up from our outpatient clinic (about 700 patients) for the entire transplant lifespan.
