National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Innovation Fund invests in Biohope

Published On: May 14th, 2026

We are proud to share that the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Innovation Fund has invested in Biohope to advance personalized medicine in kidney transplantation.

This investment will support further clinical validation and progress toward U.S. regulatory approval of Immunobiogram®, our in vitro diagnostic technology designed to personalize immunosuppressive therapy for kidney transplant recipients—helping reduce complications and extend graft survival.

Today, immunosuppression management is still largely based on trial and error, exposing patients to significant risks. Immunobiogram® analyzes how a patient’s immune cells respond to different immunosuppressive drugs, providing actionable insights to support more precise clinical decision-making. The platform is already commercially available in Spain and has been evaluated in more than 1,000 patients across multiple clinical studies.

Having the support of the National Kidney Foundation, an organization with a deep understanding of the real needs of patients and clinicians, is a meaningful step forward in bringing personalized medicine into routine clinical practice and improving outcomes in kidney transplantation.

We remain committed to a clear mission: putting each patient’s individual biology at the center of clinical decision-making.
